Merit Releases Credit Engine Version 3.4TransUnionMerit Credit Engine Version 3.4 adds support for the TransUnion 4.1 (TU41 FFR) file format, along with the Inquiry Analysis, Fraud Management Platform, and L2C "Thin File" products. TransUnion 4 version 1 provides additional delinquency analysis fields, actual amount of the most recent payment, original amounts for collection items, balloon payment dates and amounts, additional comment areas, more inquiry end-user information, and enlarged consumer name fields. Address information may now include a rent, own, or board indicator. Equifax For Equifax, a new keyword has been added, making it easy to request the ID Report. For Equifax Canada, iDecision Power is now supported, and other aspects of Merit Credit Engine's native Canada support have been improved. The Equifax Canada interface supports consumer and commercial credit reports via the Internet. Experian MCE Version 3.4 gives you access to over 400 standard aggregation variables through STAGG Select. Experian STAGG variables are summary statistics for the individual consumer that can be used to enhance custom scorecards. (This option must be pre-enabled for your account by Experian.) Experian's Precise ID for identity screening is now supported. It uses multiple data sources to help you authenticate credit applicants. Precise ID can alert you to potential fraud risks at the point of account opening. Handling for Experian's Authentication Services, Level 1 (AS1) has been simplified. A separate user record with the proper credentials is still required, but AS1 can now be handled in the same queue as other Experian NetConnect products. The HTML-formatted report is also improved. UpdatesCurrent Merit Credit Engine support customers can use the DB Update Kit to install MCE's database changes, involving additional tables and fields, as well as field-width adjustments to accommodate increased detail from the bureaus.
